Wanli Xue, Ph.D.

I am currently working as Senior Research Associate for UNSW and CSCRC. My research interests rotate around the broad aspects of cyber-physical information systems, privacy enhancing technologies and intelligent IoT system. I am particularly interested in developing efficient and robust privacy-preserving IoT information systems to provide useful AI-based services for people's everyday life without violating their privacy.

I obtained my Ph.D degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Austrlia, in Jan 2019, where I worked with Professor Wen Hu and Professor Aurna Seneviratne. I was also a member of the Networks Research Group at Data61-CSIRO. Before my Ph.D., I worked as research assitant and received the M.Sc. Degree in Computing from UTAS in February 2013 under the supervision of Professor Byeong Kang. I got one Bachelor dgree in Information System from UTAS, AU and another Bachelor degree in Business Information Management from Shanghai Ocean University, China in 2011.
